Andreas is a principal dancer and graduated from the Royal Danish Ballet School in Copenhagen. He was employed as an apprentice in 2009 and has since then participated in the Royal Theatre’s entire ballet repertoire as both a corps dancer, a soloist and as a principal dancer.
Andreas has performed as a guest on stages and with companies all over the world such as: The National Ballet in Canada, the Mariinsky Theater in St. Petersburg, the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, the National Ballet in Hamburg by John Neumeier, the David H Koch Theater and The Joyce Theater in New York, as well as many others.
In addition, Andreas has received the Erik Bruhn award for Best Male Dancer in Toronto in 2012 and has also been presented with the Albert Gaubier Honorary Scholarship, Annie & Otto Johs. Detlef’s Legacy, Den Danske Nationalbank’s Legacy, Vibeke Rørvig’s Legacy, Queen Ingrid’s Honorary Legacy and in 2020 was made a Knight of the Order of the Dane Bridge by H.M. Queen Margrethe d. II.
Marie-Agnès Gillot startede på Paris National Opera Dance School i 1985. Allerede fem år senere, i en alder af 15 år, blev hun optaget i Corps de ballet. I 1994 blev hun forfremmet til “Subject”, “First Dancer” i 1999 og blev sidenhen udnævnt til “Danseuse Etoile”.
Marie-Agnès Gillot var en efterspurgt danserinde af samtidens koreografer. Med en blanding af styrke og skrøbelighed dansede hun til en femme fatale (som L’Etrangere de Clavigo af Roland Petit eller La Mélodie du Boléro af Maurice Béjart), en romantisk karakter (Catherine in Wuthering Heights af Kader Belarbi eller l’Eurydice af Pina Bausch), grusom (Medea i Drømmen om Medea af Angelin Preljocaj), fri og uforskammet (Tjenerinden fra La Maison de Bernarda af Mats Ek). En virtuos teknik, som hun også stillede til tjeneste for verdenskendte koreografer som Edouard Lock (AndréAuria), Wayne McGregor (Genus, L’Anatomie de la sensation), Benjamin Millepied (Triade), Jiří Kylián (Kaguyahime), William Forsythe (The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude , Approximate Sonata), Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui og Damien Jalet (Boléro) og mange andre. I oktober 2012 præsenterede hun Sous Apparence, som er hendes første kreation til Paris National Opera Ballet. Hun tog sit officielle farvel til Paris National Opera i marts 2018 under en rørende opførelse af Orpheus and Eurydice af Pina Bausch.
